NutshellMail Support December 11, 2009
NutshellMail uses the Facebook Connect API to pull your latest information. Occasionally, Facebook Connect will fail to pull some or all of your messages. When this happens, you will receive an error message in your Update. Click on the link within the error message and you will be taken to our permissions page. Make sure that you have granted us the appropriate permissions so that we can provide you with all of your information. You can also click the Customize link within the Facebook section of your email update, and by clicking on the permissions tab, you can update all your permissions within Facebook.
Once you are finished modifying permissions, click the Update Now button within your email digest. You should have a new email with correct Facebook information within a few minutes.
If your account gets unlinked from NutshellMail, it means that Facebook has revoked the token that allowed us to generate the summaries of your accounts. This is likely due to the following activities:
1. Your password was recently changed on Facebook (Facebook revokes all offline tokens if a password is changed)
2. Your privacy settings were recently changed.
3. You revoked NutshellMail's authorization.
4. Facebook changed your application settings while conducting their recent changes to the service.
To relink your account, go to http://nutshellmail.com/login. Login to your account . Remove your unlinked Facebook account by clicking the trashcan icon. Then click the Facebook logo on the top of the page and follow the instructions to relink and authorize your Facebook account.
